Stephanie Kleinsmith, LMFT

Hi! My name is Stephanie Kleinsmith. I am a wife, mother, and love-my-job- therapist.

I have grown up living on the central coast, enjoying the perfect 75 degree weather and complaining when its get hotter then 80 degrees or drops below 60. I love being in water the most, whether that’s surfing, swimming, drinking it, going on hikes to find it etc. True water kid over here. I am so honored to be able to serve clients again back in my hometown!

As far as education I went to Cal Poly for my undergraduate and major in Psychology with a minor in law. I received my masters from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. I have worked for various agencies here on the coast and up in the Bay helping those through trauma and various changes life brings.

There are so many reasons one may seek therapy, and I am so thrilled to be a part of your journey. I personally have done years of therapy and truly value how life changing it can be and am so pleased to be able to give back and hopefully create an experience for someone to come as they are and feel so welcomed.

My approach to client is holistic meaning that every things that makes up who they are is important to me. I love collaborating and see the client as the expert and I am here to help support them in finding their magic which I know is there.

My Values

I find it a huge honor to walk along side clients to help them build resiliency, find healing, and have a warm safe space to welcome all of their humanness. I have been fortunate enough to have done this for years working with families, couples, and adolescents as they navigate various life circumstances, especially related to trauma.
